In another Women&apos;s Singles match, Simona Halep of Romania beat Carla Squarez-Navarro of Spain in a streight set 6-1, 6-1. In the Women&apos;s Doubles, Russian pair of Ekaterina Makarova and Elena Vesnina beat Spanish-Slovakian pair of Jose Martinez and Andreja Klepac 3-6, 6-3, 6-2 in the pre-quarter finals.
