In Andhra Pradesh, Legislative Assembly speaker N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Saturday rejected 129 resignations of legislators over Telangana issue. <br/><br/>Addressing a press conference a short while ago in Hyderabad, Speaker Kiran Kumar Reddy has revealed his decision over the pending resignations tendered to him by the legislators from Telangana region. <br/><br/>He said out of total 222 resignations received, 129 have been rejected as they were not in accordance with the rules. He said, he has acted to the best of his best judgment within the purview of rules, regulations and the Constitution of India. <br/><br/>Mr Reddy said 92 legislators have withdrawn their resignations so far as the emotions came down in due course over statehood for Telangana. He further said only one valid resignation is pending before him and he would speak personally before taking a final decision to accept it. He appealed the Government, political parties, people and students to maintain law and order in the state.
