Following the Center's guidelines during the Cyclone situation, the Andhra Pradesh Govt. has taken up several initiatives regarding  procurement of Liquid Medical Oxygen.  The state is largely dependent on supplies from steel plants located in eastern India in Angul, Kalinganagar and Rourkela.
