The Andhra Pradesh government has accorded an administrative sanction of 2,050 crore rupees for the establishment of four new medical colleges in four Parliamentary constituencies in the State. The orders to this effect were issued yesterday by the Special Chief Secretary, Health Medical and Family Welfare, Dr. K. S. Jawahar Reddy at Vijayawada.<br />'' <br />''The state government had earlier announced the establishment of one medical college in each of the 25 parliamentary constituencies in the state. The four new medical colleges will come up in Paderu of Visakhapatnam district, Machilipatnam of Krishna district, Piduguralla of Guntur district and Pulivendula of Kadapa district.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The Machilipatnam College will have an intake of 150 students and was allocated 550 crore rupees, and the other three have an intake of 100 students each and have been allocated 500 Crore rupees each. The State government also has accorded administrative sanction of 104.17 crore rupees for the purchase of land for the establishment of medical colleges at Amalapuram, Eluru, Piduguralla, Madanapalli, Adoni and Pulivendula.</span><br />
