Chandrababu Naiudu today appealed to the Inter-Ministerial Central Team (IMCT) at Amaravathy to respond positively in boosting the morale of farmers of drought-affected Nellore, Prakasam, Kadapa, Chittoor, Kurnool and Anantapur districts of the state during kharif season.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The IMCT team led by team leader Ms Neeraja Adidan, Joint&nbsp; Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture&nbsp; Cooperation and&nbsp; Farmers Welfare met the chief minister to discuss about their observations on drought situations during kharif season.</span><br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The state government submitted a report to the team stating that Andhra Pradesh has been facing drought for the 7th consecutive year.&nbsp; &nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The IMCT team responded positively and assured that it would submit a report to the central govt within a week.</span>
