The proceedings of Andhra Pradesh Assembly have been stalled for the second consecutive days today over demand for resolution on Telangana and dismissal of two ministers for their alleged links with liquor syndicates. The house has been adjourned for the day without taking up any listed business.Earlier, as soon as the house met in the morning, the main opposition Telugu Desam Party thronged the speaker’s podium demanding for dismissal of ministers who allegedly have links with liquor syndicates. Raising slogans and displaying placards for a resolution on statehood for Telangana, the TRS members also plunged into the well of the house. Amidst uproar, Speaker Manohar adjourned the house initially for half an hour and later for the day without taking up any listed business.
