Andhra Pradesh Assembly has been adjourned for the day on the first day of its monsoon session without transacting any business. Speaker N Manohar adjourned the house today twice for a brief period initially and finally for the day. Opposition members stalled the proceedings repeatedly.The trouble began soon after the house met in the morning with TDP members entering into the well of the house and demanded the chair to take up its adjournment motion notice for discussion on power situation in the state. They also demanded a resolution on statehood for Telangana.
