The Budget session of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly will begin this morning.The 40-day long Budget session will be commencing this morning with a ceremonial address by Governor E S L Narasimhan to the members of the Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council at a joint session. Several issues relating to Agriculture, drought, liquor sales, several corruption cases under CBI investigation and Statehood for Telangana may come up for discussion during the budget session. The crucial State Annual Budget is likely to be presented on 17th of this month.The state government has braced up to face a along stormy session with the opposition parties seeking to raise issues relating to farm sector and power supply among other issues. The Business Advisory Committee of the Assembly will meet this morning to finalise the business agenda for the session.
