In Maharashtra, 32 pilgrims were killed and 21 injured in a bus accident in Osmanabad district on Friday night. They include 16 male and 14 female passengers.Police sources said the injured were rushed to government hospital in Solapur, where the condition of five is reported to be critical. All those traveling by the ill fated bus hailed from various pleases from Andhra Pradesh, namely Hyderabad, Guntur, Vishakhapattanam and Nampalli. Identification of only one victim has been done so far.Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy has ordered an enquiry into the bus incident. He has asked Transport Principle Secretary Lakshmi Parthasaradhi to submit a report on this at the earliest.Earlier, he requested the Maharstra Government to provide medical assistance to the accident victims. He called his Maharstra counterpart Prithviraj Chavan and sought assistance. Andhra Pradesh Civil Supplies Minister Sridhar Babu has been rushed to Sholapur to monitor the medical and relief operations for the injured in the Shirdi bus accident. The State Government sent medical teams to the accident site to provide relief and medical assistance to the victims. A special bus also left for Sholapur with anxious relatives of passengers who traveled the ill-fated bus. The bodies of the victims are expected to be brought to Osmania Hospital in Hyderabad.
