Andhra ministerial crisis will be settled soon: PCC Chief

The Congress today said that the dissatisfaction among some ministers over the portfolios is a usual affair and every thing will be set right soon. PCC president D Srinivas told this to reporters in Hydrabad today. Several senior ministers including D Prasada Rao, Ponnala Lakshmaiah, D Nagender also told media that they are not dissatisfied with their portfolios. In the meantime, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumra Reddy has initiated measures to pacify ministers who expressed dissatisfaction over allocation of portfolios. Series of meetings among ministers are being held in Hyderabad since morning over the issue. Senior ministers, Raghuveera Reddy and Aanam Ramnarayana Reddy have been entrusted the task of pacifying the ministers who were dissatisfied.AIR correspondent MS Lakshmi reportss that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has begun his efforts to pacify the ministers who were reportedly annoyed over allocation of portfolios. Two of his Ministers have held meeting at the residence of one of the senior ministers D Prasada Rao in this connection. Hectic political activity is seen in Hyderabad since morning as several rounds of discussions are also being held at different places in which Ministers are actively taking part. However, several ministers including Ponnala Lakshmaiah, D Nagender D Prasada Rao told reporters that there was no displeasure among the ministers over the portfolios. PCC president D Srinivas said dissatisfaction over allocation of portfolios was usual affair after cabinet formation and said situation would become normal very soon. On the other hand, the cabinet is meeting this evening for the first time after its formation in the back drop of displeasure among some of the ministers.
