Andhra Pradesh Health and Family Welfare Minister D L Ravindra Reddy today offered his resignation from the state cabinet. Owning moral responsibility for the Congress party defeat in the by elections held in the state, Mr Reddy has sent his resignation letter to Party President Sonia Gandhi. He told this to reporters at the Assembly premises in Hyderabad today. Stating that the party and the cabinet should take responsibility for the defeat in by-polls, he said he has submitted his resignation to Party high command to enable it to revamp the party as well as the state cabinet.
