Andhra Pradesh High Court today rejected bail to Kadapa Lok Sabha Member Jaganmohan Reddy who is on Judicial Remand in connection with the disproportionate assets case. The High Court bench headed by Justice Govindarajulu dismissed the bail petition filed by the YSR Congress President after hearing arguments from both sides. Renowned lawyer Ram Jethmalani argued for Jaganmohan Reddy while Ashok Bhan appeared for the CBI. The CBI special court had also rejected him bail twice earlier.Mr Jaganmohan Reddy initially was arrested on 27th May and on judicial remand till today. The CBI has charged him with alleged conspiracy along with his father Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, then the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, to dole out favours to some industries to gain investments in his own business. The CBI has so far filed four charge sheets in connection with the disproportionate assets case.
