Andhra Pradesh High Court has directed the CBI to conduct full-fledged inquiry into alleged irregularities in the investments of companies owned by Kadapa Lok Sabha Member, Y S Jaganmohan Reddy. The bench headed by Chief Justice Nisar Ahmad Kakru observed that the abnormal growth recorded by companies of Jaganmohan Reddy and others, need to be looked into. The Court also asked the CBI to register a case against all the investors who invested in the companies promoted by Jaganmohan Reddy to find out whether any irregularities committed by them and probe the involvement of others.Earlier, following the directions of the court with respect to the petitions filed by state Textile Minister P Sankar Rao and Telugu Desam Party leader Yerrannaidu and others, the CBI has filed its preliminary report over the alleged irregularities in the investments.
