Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has directed Collectors of coastal districts to take precautionary measures in view of cyclone threat in the Bay of Bengal.The Chief Minister reviewed the situation with Revenue Minister N Raghuveera Reddy, Chief Secretary Pankaj Dwivedi and officials at a meeting at secretariat last evening.The Chief Minister asked the officials to take all steps to prevent loss of lives and property. Mr. Reddy asked senior IAS officers to visit the coastal districts as well as Kadapa, Anantapur, Kurnool and Chittoor to review the measures in this respect.Meanwhile, a control room has been set up at the state secretariat to monitor the situation round-the-clock.
