The day one of International Fleet Review (IFR) activities will kick start today in Visakhapatnam by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. He will also inaugurate Maritime Exhibition (MAREX), on the theme "Innovation, Youth and Indigenisation" at Andhra University College of Engineering grounds. <br/><br/>Chief of Naval Staff Admiral RK Dhowan, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief Vice Admiral Satish Soni and Commanding Officers of visiting foreign naval ships will be present on the occasion. <br/>The Exhibition is in accordance with the vision of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi's "Make in India". <br/><br/>Various Indian industries and organisations have set up an array of stalls showcasing the self-reliance of Indian Navy. A thematic light and sound show depicting the roles on Indian Navy both in war and peace time will be an attractive feature in the exhibition.
