The Andhra Pradesh Assembly has unanimously made an appeal to students, who are agitating on statehood issue to observe restraint and not to take extreme step like suicide. <br/><br/>Making a statement on the floor of the house after the opposition has stalled the proceedings for more than 2 hours amidst repeated adjournments, Chief Minister Rosaiah has asked all political parties to see to it that the emotions among the students should not be raged on the sensitive statehood issue. <br/><br/>Stating that the SriKrishna Committee constituted on the issue had already begun its work, he asked all sections of people to present their views before it in a democratic manner. All parties including opposition TDP have joined the chief Minister in appealing students to observe restraint. <br/><br/>Meanwhile, the student Joint Action Committee of Osmania University has called upon the students for peaceful demonstrations on statehood issue. All the postponed examinations of the university have also been rescheduled from 3rd of next month. <br/><br/>On the other hand, the member Secretary of SriKrishna Committee V K Duggal has arrived in Hyderabad to examine administrative matters of the committee.<br/>
