Five members from opposition Telugu Desam and Telangana Rastra Samithi today suspended for 7 days from Andhra Pradesh Assembly. They have been suspended for disrupting Governor E S L Narasimhan’s address at the joint session of Legislature Assembly and legislature Council yesterday. Among the suspended, two MLAs belonged to TDP while three from TRS. Deputy Speaker N Manohar suspended these 5 members from the Assembly for one week following a proposal by Legislature Affairs Minister D Sridhar Babu. The Deputy Speaker also ordered an enquiry into disruption of Governor’s speech and attack on a member.
