<span style="color: #000000;">In order to boost tourism and hassle free travel between mainland and Port Blair, the Andaman and Nicobar Administration has provided exemption in the existing norms of carrying negative RTPCR report and retesting at the Port Blair airport on arrival. The Department of Civil Aviation today issued an order relaxing the set travelling restrictions in this regard.<br />''<br />''Accordingly, exemption provided to all asymptomatic passengers who have been vaccinated with both the doses & 15 days lapsed since the administration of IInd dose.<br />''<br />''All such passengers will have to possess final vaccination certificate issued through Cowin portal. They have to produce ID cards/document mentioned in the vaccination certificate for verification at the airport.<br />''<br />''While all symptomatic passengers irrespective of their vaccination status will be subjected to RAT/RTPCR test at the airport terminal to aid identification.<br />''<br />''All other passengers (unvaccinated, partially vaccinated or having both the doses but not completed 15 days since administration of IInd dose) will continue to carry valid -ve RTPCR report. They will also undergo retesting with RTPCR on arrival at Port Blair. The new SOP will come into effect from 25th Sept onwards.</span><br />
