In Andaman and Nicobar Islands, the current COVID-19 situation seems to be improving. There is a fall in the number of positive cases reported during the last three days while speedy recovery has been noticed. On 16th of August, 93 positive cases were reported while yesterday the figure dropped to 46. <br />''<br />''On the other hand, 99 patients recovered during the last 24 hours. In the last three days, 293 patients recovered and 259 positive cases reported. As a result, the recovery rate has gone up to 54 per cent. Till date a total of 2,445 cases reported out of which 1,325 recovered and the number of active cases is 1,091. Twenty nine people lost their lives due to this infection so far.
