In Andaman and Nicobar Islands, the cases of Covid-19 are soaring high. The total tally of active cases has reached 479. Out of the total active cases 475 are in South Andaman district only. While Nicobar has three cases and one case is in North and Middle Andaman district. As per the official data there are three Omicron cases detected till date.<br />'' <br />''During the last 4-5 days, an unprecedented growth in Covid-19 cases has been recorded. Yesterday, 108 new cases were reported while 41 patients discharged. A major chunk is being reported among airport arrivals.
