South Africa's governing African National Congress has defended President Jacob Zuma over claims that he fathered a child outside marriage.<br/><br/>The ANC said Mr Zuma had broken no laws and that there was nothing shameful in a relationship between two people.<br/><br/>Opposition parties and newspapers have accused Mr Zuma of setting a bad example in a country battling an epidemic of HIV and AIDS.<br/><br/>South Africa has the highest number of HIV infections in the world.
