Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar today criticized those parties whose members are allegedly involved in converting black money into white for 40 per cent commission. Talking to media outside Parliament, Mr Kumar said, such an action by the opposition parties is an attempt to sabotage Prime Minister Narendra Modi's fight against black money.

The Minister said parties whose members are allegedly involved in it should explain their position. Reacting to the allegations, BSP chief Mayawati termed the expose by a private news channel as pre-planned. She questioned why the sting operation was only carried out on the opposition parties.

Ms Mayawati said, if any member of the BSP is involved in any such act, he will be sacked. She said the expose is aimed at hurting political image of the opposition parties. In an expose, a private news channel claimed that politicians of few opposition parties including BSP, SP and Congress were involved in converting black money into white for commission.
