Anand to meet Shirov in Bilbao Final Masters Chess tournament

World Champion Viswanathan Anand will meet Alexei Shirov of Spain in the fourth round of the ongoing Bilbao Final Masters Chess tournament in Spain. Indian chess master will be hoping for an improved finish in the second half of the four-player double round robin tournament. So far, it has been a good going for Anand with two draws and a sole win against Magnus Carlsen of Norway. He also has the advantage of having two white games in the last three. Shirov has had mixed results. He was outplayed by Kramnik and his inventive play yielded dynamic positions in the remaining two games which proved only good for draws.
