Anand strikes back in second round

World champion Viswanathan Anand has leveled the scores One-One after the end of the second round of the world chess championship match against Veselin Topalov. In the second game of the match in Sofia, Bulgaria yesterday, Anand put up a sterling show to outwit the challenger. Anand had lost the first game on Saturday quite easily. But in the second game, the defending champion outplayed Topalov comprehensively. The Indian ace can now look forward to his title defense more confidently. Today is a rest day in the 12-game match.
