Textiles Minister Anand Sharma on Friday unveiled a new corporate logo of state-owned National Textile Corporation (NTC). He said in New Delhi that the government is committed to make NTC a world-class eco-friendly integrated textile company and flag bearer of the sector. The Minister also launched two new retail stores of the company in New Delhi and in Coimbatore through satellite link-up. This is a part of revamping of NTC's 93 stores across the country. Speaking on the occasion, Textiles Secretary Rita Menon said the revamp and modernisation steps taken by the NTC in the recent past in view of the changing times and consumer aspirations will help instilling confidence in the minds of all stakeholders. NTC CMD K Ramachandran Pillai said the new logo would reflect a new face of the company to the world.
