Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Anand Sharma today inaugurated an International Business Lounge in New Delhi. The new facility developed by the India Trade Promotion Organisation, ITPO, aims at catering to the rising demand for bilateral trade negotiations and business meets.

Talking to mediapersons on the ocassion, Mr. Sharma pointed out that there is tremendous global interest in Indian market and such upgraded facilities are important for meaningful business exchanges. Mr Sharma said that the lounge will act an an additional facility for hosting bilateral trade conferences as well as formal and informal business meetings on the sidelines of trade fairs at Pragati Maidan.

He expressed hope that the lounge would enhance the appeal of the exhibition complex as an ideal centre for holding ancillary events along with trade exhibitions for an increasing number of business visitors from India and abroad.
