Union Minister of trade, commerce and textile Mr Anand Sharma today said that Delhi-Mumbai corridor project is entering in implementation phase now. He said in Chandigarh that this project would benefit Rajasthan, Madhyapradesh , Uttarpradesh, Maharashtra and Gujrat including Haryana and special purpose vehicle would be set up for implementation of the project.He said that central government would invest 18,500 crore ruppes in this project whereas 45 million dollars would be invested by Japan Bank. Mr Sharma accompanied by Haryana Chief Minister Bhupender Singh Hooda was addressing media at chandigarh. Announcing number of projects for industrial development of Haryana the Minister said that Manesar-Bawal investment project to be developed in 383 suare kilometer area, would be declared National Building Zone. He also announced to open National Institute of Design at Pipli in Kurukshetra and National Institute of Fashion Technology in Panchkula. He said that an International Horticulture Hub would also be set up at Gannaur in Haryana. Mr Sharma told that the National Investment Policy propose 15 pertcent investment in rural areas which is not seen in counteries like china, Indonesia and Brazil.
