Anand Pawar has stormed into the quarterfinals of the Bitburger Badminton Open in Germany yesterday. He beat top- seed compatriot Chetan Anand 21-16, 21-13 in the pre-quarterfinals. He will take on fifth seed Eric Pang of the Netherlands in the quarter finals. In men's doubles, top seeded Indian pair of Rupesh Kumar and Thomas Sanave beat Mats Hukriede and Josche Zurwonne of Germany 21-9, 21-10 in the pre-quarter finals.
