Anand held by Svidler in fifth round of Norway Chess 2013

World champion Viswanathan Anand has played out an easy draw against Russian Peter Svidler in the fifth round of the Norway Chess 2013 Super Tournament. In the event being held at Sandnes in Norway, Anand now shares the fourth spot along with Levon Aronian, Teimour Radjabov and Peter Svidler. All the four are on 2.5 points each in the 10-player round-robin event. With four rounds remaining, Sergey Karjakin of Russia leads the tournament on four points out of a possible five. He is trailed by Magnus Carlsen of Norway and Hikaru Nakamura of the United States, with a full point behind.
