Chess legend Garry Kasparov has predicted a close finish in the ongoing World Chess Championship between Viswanathan Anand and Magnus Carlsen. Kasparov arrived in Chennai today to watch the 12-game match. He said he is amazed by the publicity for the match. The former world champion said the current championship reminds him of his match with Anatoly Karpov, and the Spassky-Fischer game.The Russian Chess legend hoped that the Anand versus Carlsen match will be the revival of chess and the massive hype and publicity surrounding the event could revive the game across the globe.At present, Anand and Carlson have one point each from the first two games. The contest will resume on Tuesday after Monday's rest day.
