In Jammu and Kashmir, an Army jawan was martyred and a Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist was killed an ongoing gunfight in Doda district today. The encounter started when security forces launched a joint operation in Posta-Potra village in Gundana area, following information about presence of some terrorists. <br />''<br />''During the search operation, the terrorists fired on the forces, injuring an Army soldier critically, who later succumbed to injuries while being evacuated to hospital. <br />''<br />''In the ensuing encounter, a Hizbul terrorist was killed. The operation is on and details are awaited. This is the second encounter between security forces and terrorists in Doda district this year. Earlier, Hizbul Mujahideen dreaded terrorist Haroon Abbas was killed in the same area by security forces on January 15. <br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Earlier this month, two Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists were also arrested along with some arms and ammunition in the district.</span><br />
