The Aligarh Muslim University will be reopening on the 16th of this month in a phased manner. This was decided in a meeting of the Deans of faculties and Principals of Colleges chaired by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. P. K. Abdul Azis.An official spokes person told our Lucknow correspondent that the hostel facilities for B. Tech Final year and all final semester students of other faculties will be provided from the reopening day. He said that the University has also decided that the halls of residence will be opened for Pre final and II Semester students on May 21 and for all other courses students will be provided on May 23.He said that the meeting also decided that postgraduate degree and diploma examinations in the Faculty of Medicine will be held as per the schedule already announced. Entrance examination for the university will be held on 8th of this month.
