In Uttar Pradesh teachers of the Aligarh Muslim University has demanded to re-open university immediately. Terming the shut down of University as illegal, teachers' association has passed a resolution in this regard. A spokesperson of the association told our Lucknow correspondent that a delegation of university teachers will be meeting the Human Resource Development Ministry at New Delhi to apprise of the current crisis. The AMU was shut down on Saturday indefinitely following violent clashes between two groups of students.
