Amit Shah's comments on 'Achhe Din' twisted by media: BJP

BJP today dismissed media report about party Chief Amit Shah saying that it will take 25 years for the government to fulfill its promises to bring 'Achhe Din'. The party described the report as baseless and fabricated.<br/><br/>Talking to reporters in New Delhi, party leader and Union Minister Piyush Goyal said Mr. Shah's comments were misconstrued by the English daily which has published the news item. He said the BJP chief was talking about making India world leader in 25 years and did not say any word with regard to 'Acche Din'. Releasing the video of the speech delivered by Mr. Shah, he said the BJP chief was talking about long term and big vision for the country. <br/><br/>Mr. Goyal said the NDA government is committed to fulfill all its promises. He said BJP condemns such acts of media and expects responsible reporting. The Minister added that BJP is a responsible party and its leaders always make sensible comments. A media report quoted Mr. Shah as having told party leaders and workers at a meet in Bhopal yesterday that the good days promised by Prime Minister Narendra Modi will take 25 years to come which was criticized by the opposition.
