BJP President Amit Shah will lead the 'Tiranga Yatra' at Kakori near ?Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh today.? In Kakori, ?a train laden with colonial treasure was looted by Indian revolutionaries including Ram Prasad Bismil and Ashfaq Ullah Khan ?in August 1925?. Since then the event and the place remained the source of inspiration for the freedom fighters and has been famous as 'Kakori Kand' or as the ?'?Kakori conspiracy???'?. A memorial to those revolutionaries exists in ?Kakori ?town?. Amit?? ?Shah will ?also ?address a public programme 'Azadi 70, Yaad Karo Kurbani' at the Shaheed Smarak, Kakori and thereafter will have lunch at the residence of Dalit MP Kaushal Kishore.? ?<br/> <br/>?AIR correspondent reports that the state BJP has already decided to take out 'Tiranga Yatra' in two phases – from August 9 to 14 and from August 16 to 23 in which all senior leaders? of the party?, ?its ?MPs, MLA?s? and party workers have been asked to participate.? State BJP general secretary Vijay Bahadur Pathak said that while Amit Shah will hold meeting at Kakori Shaheed Smarak ?on Saturday, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh will lead the yatra in Shahajahanpur – the birthplace of Ashfaq Ulla Khan, Ram Prasad Bismil and Roshan Singh? in coming days.? <br/><br/>Other Union Ministers will also be part of the Yatra. Union Ministers like Nitin Gadkari will lead the Yatra in Mughalsarai, Uma Bharati in Jhansi, Ram Vilas Paswan in Akbarpur, JP Nadda in Lucknow, Chaudhary Virendra Singh in Pratapgarh, Prakash Javdekar in Gorakhpur, Dharmendra Pradhan in Agra, Piyush Goyal in Mathura, Ram Kripal Yadav in Bijnore, Kiran Rijiju in Kanpur, Col Raj?ya? Vardhan Singh Rathore in Meerut and Anupriya Patel in Faizabad.
