BJP President Amit Shah on Friday said that the party has uprooted the politics of dynasty, casteism and appeasement from the political system after it came to power at the Centre and winning the Uttar Pradesh Assembly election. Addressing the gathering at NDMC centre at a function in New Delhi, Mr Shah said, these are the wounds which were destroying the democratic values and political system of the country.<br/><br/>Mr Shah appealed to the people to strengthen the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the development of country. He said there should be a comparative study about the performance of the BJP led NDA government vis a vis those which had run the country in the past.<br/><br/>The BJP president said parties which do not respect internal democracies within them, can not take the country on the path of development. He said, it is the BJP where internal democracy exists. Mr Shah also said, the decision of demonetisation was widely accepted by the people of the country. <br/><br/>He said, BJP is the party which takes decision in the interest of the people and not on the basis of vote bank politics. Mr Shah also highlighted the various schemes run by the Centre for the welfare of the poor including Pradhan Mantri Jan- Dhan Yojana, Ujjawala Yojana and others.
