Former Gujarat Minister of State for Home Amit Shah today appeared before the press in Ahmedabad and dismissed all the charges leveled against him. Briefing the media persons at BJP State Headquarters at Ahmedabad, Amit Shah alleged that summons and charge sheet by the CBI are a conspiracy and he will expose the people behind it. He described the charges against him as false, fabricated and politically motivated. Amit Shah alleged that he is being framed in the case and blamed the Congress for it. Former Minister who resigned from the Narendra Modi Government after the chargesheet by the CBI for murder, abduction and extortion in Sohrabuddin fake encounter case said that he will straight go to the CBI office at Gandhinagar and appear before the agency. He requested that all his questioning by the CBI should be videotaped and presented to the court.AIR Ahmedabad Correspondent reports that the press conference by Amit Shah is a surprising move who remained under ground for the last three days to evade his arrest, even after two summons and chargesheet by the CBI. Earlier, the Chief Minister Narendra Modi accepted the resignation of Amit Shah and forwarded it to the Governor for acceptance on return from New Delhi last evening.Forty-six-year-old close aide of Chief Minister, Amit Shah said that he has full faith in judiciary and expressed confidence that allegations against him will be cleared by the courts. According to 2,000-page supplementary chargesheet filed by the CBI Shah had entrusted the task of eliminating Sohrabuddin, an alleged gangster, to IPS officers DG Vanzara, Rajkumar Pandian and Abhay Chudasama. Sohrabuddin was killed in an encounter near Ahmedabad in November 2005. Later, Shah allegedly ordered elimination of Sohrabuddin's wife, Kauserbi.
