In Gujarat, former Minister of state for Home Amit Shah has moved his bail application in special CBI court in Ahmedabad. Hearing on his bail application has been posted for 2nd August. Veteran lawyer Ram Jethmalani will assist Shah's advocates in pleading for bail. Shah, who forced to resign from the Narendra Modi Government after charge sheeted for murder and other charges in Sohrabuddin fake encounter case was arrested by CBI on Sunday. AIR Correspondent reports that Shah was accused with 15 senior policemen for abduction and killing of Sohrabuddin and his wife, Kauser. Meanwhile, a senior police officer who could present critical evidence against Amit Shah has offered to turn approver. NK Amin allegedly taped a phone conversation with NV Chauhan, an inspector who was assigned to guard Sohrabuddin’s wife- Kauser at the farmhouse in illegal custody by senior policemen including DG Vanzara.
