BJP President Amit Shah today kick-started his 95-day vistar yatra programme in Jammu to expand the party's footprint in the country. Addressing intellectuals and prominent citizens in the city this evening, he said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government has taken the country to new heights of development. <br/><br/>Highlighting the success achieved by BJP in elections recently, he said, it shows the programmes and policies of the Modi government have been well received by the people. <br/><br/>He said the developmental model adopted by the government has been very successful. He maintained that BJP has been given a mandate by 70 per cent of the population.<br/><br/>Earlier, Amit Shah had a meeting with the BJP Ministers, MPs and other leaders in the State to discuss measures to strengthen the party at the grassroots level.
