BJP chief Amit Shah today hailed the party victory in Port Blair's local body elections. In a statement, Mr Shah said, the party victory in a series of municipal polls in various states has emphasized people's endorsement of the Narendra Modi government's development agenda. <br/><br/>He said, this is a mandate against Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi's anti-poor, anti-development and negative politics. Mr Shah said, people have shown their faith in the policies of the Modi government. BJP has won 11 of the 24 seats in the elections to the island's local body and is set to replace Congress as the main ruling formation.
