BJP national President Amit Shah called upon party cadre to spread the ideology of Pandit Deen Dayal among masses and strive to better the lives of the poor and weaker sections of the society. The BJP chief has begun his three day tour in Telangana with a visit to Theretpally village in Nalgonda district today. Addressing party booth level functionaries, Mr Shah said, Modi-led NDA government at the centre has been implementing several welfare and development schemes for the poor. <br/><br/>He asked party workers to create awareness among people about the innovative schemes launched by the centre. The BJP chief expressed hope that the party would come to power in Telangana in 2019 elections. Earlier, Mr Shah interacted with local villagers and elicited their views about central government programmes under implementation. He unveiled the statue of party leader Maisaiah Goud who was killed by naxalites in 1999 in the village.<br/>'<br/>As part of his three- day tour in Telangana, Mr Shah is scheduled to participate in a series of meetings with party workers in Nalgonda, Bhongir and Hyderabad districts. His current visit is aimed at strengthening party position in Telangana and gearing up party cadre in the run up to 2019 elections.
