In Manipur, acute shortage of petrol and diesel has badly hit normal life. The two national highways of landlocked Manipur remain completely blocked by the supporters of the NSCN(IM) leader T Muivah following the state government's refusal to allow Muivah to visit his native village in Manipur. <br/> <br/>The deadlock between the Manipur government and NSCN (IM) over the proposed visit of its leader Mr. Muivah to Manipur is still unresolved. <br/> <br/>With no fresh supply of all essential commodities including petroleum products since then stock position in the market is fast exhausting. However, the chief Minister Mr. Ibobi Singh has expressed confidence that situation will be normalised. Meanwhile, state government has made arrangements to bring petrol, diesel, LPG and oxygen cylinders from Aizwal, the capital of Mizoram along the Guite road. Arrangements are also being made to airlift life saving drugs from Guwahati from Monday onwards. <br/>
