Amid the reported rift and power tussle within Samajwadi Party family, senior party leader and UP Minister Shivpal Yadav met party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav at his residence in New Delhi. <br/><br/>During over three hour long meeting, the two leaders are believed to have discussed the ways to resolve the infighting. <br/><br/>It came a day after Mulayam Singh removed Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav from the party's UP President post and installed Shivpal Yadav in his place. Hours later, Akhilesh Yadav stripped Mr Shivpal of all his powerful ministries and left him with only the social welfare portfolio.<br/><br/>Earlier yesterday, Mr Akhilesh shunted out Chief Secretary Deepak Singhal who was considered close to Shivpal Yadav.Meanwhile, Chief Minister today described the differences as a dispute in the government and not a family feud.
