American NRI wins Kansas primary

In the United States, Indian-American Raj Goyle has won a primary from Kansas State to bag Democratic party's nomination for the November Congressional elections. With this victory, Goyle has become the latest candidate from the Indian community to join the race for the House of Representatives. Flanked by his wife Monica and seven-month-old daughter Ana, State Representative Goyle declared victory before a large crowd in Wichita. Goyle, who has made jobs and the economy his campaign's focus, vowed to eliminate the tax breaks and loopholes that reward companies for shipping jobs overseas.
