The American-led United Nations Command, UNC, in South Korea said today it will hold talks with North Korea at Panmunjom on Thursday. The two sides originally planned to meet on Tuesday, but North Korea requested a delay citing administrative reasons. The working-level military talks were initially suggested by the UNC to discuss the sinking of a South Korean warship in March with 46 sailors left dead which an international investigation blamed Pyongyang's torpedo attack for the sinking, but the North Korea has insisted on its innocence and previously rejected the proposal.
