The I&B Minister, Ms. Ambika Soni held a meeting with the Chief Minister of West Bengal Ms. Mamta Banjerjee at the Writers' Building in Kolkata on Friday morning. Addressing media persons Ms. Soni said that the two leaders have discussed a wide variety of issues. The minister said she discussed the overall political situation in West Bengal and would inform Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh about the cocnerns of the West Bengal Government on the sharing of Teesta water with Bangladesh. AIR correspondent reports that, Ms. Soni will also attend the convocation ceremony of the Satyajeet Roy Film and Television Institute in Kolkata.
