Information and Broadcasting Minister Ambika Soni on Sunday condoled the death of renowned cartoonist Mario Miranda. In her message Ms Soni said Mario Miranda was a multi-faceted personality and his cartoons captured the nuances of Goan life prolifically.

Ms Soni said his cartoons and images won him universal admiration. She said his illustrations in children's books will always be fondly remembered.
