Amarnath Yatra temporarily suspended due to bad weather conditions

In Jammu and Kashmir, Shri Amarnathji Yatra from Baltal Base Camp and from Pahalgam route has been temporarily suspended due to bad weather conditions. As per the official sources, it has been continuously raining on various points on the Baltal track, in Chandanwadi, Sheshnaag and Panjtarni on Pahalgam track and around holy cave. The Yatra shall be allowed to move further only after the improvement in the weather conditions. During the current season, 2,82,644 Yatris have already paid their obeisance to Shivlingam at the holy cave shrine till that last evening.<br />''<br />''Earlier in the wee hours today, 28th batch of 1,602 Shri Amarnathji Yatris comprising 139 females and five children left Bhagwati Nagar Base Camp in Jammu in a cavalcade of 55 vehicles.
