<span style="color: #222222;">The ongoing Amarnath Yatra was suspended today from Jammu for a day in view of a shutdown call given by separatists in the Kashmir Valley.<br />'' <br />'' Official sources said no fresh batch of pilgrims was allowed from Bhagwati Nagar Yatri Niwas base camp in Jammu as a precautionary measure.<br />'' <br />'' They said the pilgrims already based in Baltal, Ganderbal and Nunwan, Pahalgam base camps were allowed to move towards the cave shrine this morning as per the schedule.<br />'' <br />'' Since the start of the Yatra on 1st July, nearly 96 thousand pilgrims have visited the shrine.<br />'' <br />'' Meanwhile, the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board, SASB, has put in place all arrangements at various Yatra Camps and enroute for carrying out sanitation work.<br />'' <br />'' The entire campaign is being implemented by the Shrine Board in close collaboration with the Pahalgam Development Authority and the Sonamarg Development Authority in their respective areas of jurisdiction.<br />'' <br />'' SASB officials reiterated that Yatris must follow do's and don'ts and ensure the cleanliness of the tracks, and take care of the ecological and environmental sensitivities.</span><br />
