<span style="color: #222222;">Ahead of the Amarnath Yatra this year, Deputy Commissioner Bandipora in North Kashmir, Dr. Owais Ahmed chaired a meeting of officers yesterday to review the arrangements at Transit Camp Sumbal. He reviewed department wise arrangements and sought feedback from the concerned officers.<br />''<br />''It was intimated during the meeting that all arrangements for electrification of transit camp site as well as all repair and renovation work is complete and the work on new infrastructures is near completion.<br />''<br />''On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner asked for ensuring installation of signages and hoardings well in time. He said district administration has also put in place arrangements for installation of stalls by the Agriculture Department and NRLM and instructed SDM Sumbal to regularly monitor progress of works at the transit camp for proper implementation of the designated plan for successful Yatra.<br />''<br />''The DC also discussed the requirement of other facilities like accommodation, barricading, installation of technical equipment and water supply at the campsite. The provision of cleanliness, sanitation, hygiene and medical facilities at the transit camp was also discussed in the meeting.</span><br />
